Bangkok is an amazing place to see. We will talk about Bangkok attractions and especially the Amphawa floating market tour. The Wat Traimit temple in the Chinatown area is best known for it’s more than 3 meter (10 foot) high golden Buddha image weighing more than five tons. Cast in the Sukhothai style, the image is about 900 years old and was covered in plaster to hide its value. Only in 1957 it was discovered that the statue was pure gold, when the image was moved to a new building and slipped from a crane. The temple itself is said …

You must see Scandinavia at least once

Scandinavia and particularly Denmark is a wonderful travel destination. Gotland, Sweden – Sweden’s largest island, Gotland lies in the Baltic Sea, a three-hour ferry trip from the mainland. Its highlight is the beautifully preserved medieval town of Visby. An Unesco World Heritage site, its warren of narrow cobbled streets, timbered buildings and fortified walls are a joy to explore. But the rest of island is appealing too, with miles of long sandy beaches and lush woodlands. Gotland is pretty flat, so hire a bike and set off round the island, stopping en route at its pretty rural villages, small fishing …

Bokor Hill Station near Kampot was built by the French in the 1920s to be used as a retreat from the heat of Phnom Penh. It has since been abandoned twice, first in the 1940s when the Japanese invaded Cambodia and again in the 1970s, when the Khmer Rouge engulfed the country. Today, Bokor Hill Station and its abandoned buildings have an eerie, ghost-town feel. As of October 2008, the road to Bokor is officially closed due to ongoing reconstruction. Independent access seems to be impossible. though there are hiking tours arranged by local travel agents. National Museum of Cambodia …
